Get ready to receive “nourishment for the Jewish soul” – all in a hand-delivered, interactive “LaunchBox”.
The LaunchBox, created by Californian Batsheva Frankel and the 2011 winner of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles’s “Next Big Jewish Idea!” contest, is a box filled with activities, materials and links to online content all about Judaism.
Frankel will receive up to $100,000 in addition to assistance from the LA Federation to implement her idea.
“We are thrilled with the potential LaunchBox has to engage the unaffiliated members of our community, as well as those who are more active,” said Jay Sanderson, the Federation’s president.
